The American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers
(doctors, nurses, therapist, etc) is designed to train the student on how to recognize life-threatening emergencies. You will learn to give effective adult, child, and infant CPR) and be instructed in the use an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED). Rescue techniques for choking victims and the correct use of the bag valve mask and protective barrier will be covered during the class.
